We went here for dinner on Saturday night, before dancing and I thought I'd give you guys a quick review of it for anyone who is interested. They don't do reservations but they open at 5. We got there at 5 of and got a table for 10 with no problem. It's the city, people don't eat until later. So if you're going with a large group, come early!Restaurant is small and cozy, there is some sidewalk tables as well. BYOT--tequila. Margarita mixes are seasonal. They had Blackberry, Watermellon and Lime. We got all 3. Blackberry was definitely a favorite and the watermelon was very light and refreshing (perfet summer drink). Appetizers--- We got 2 types of guacamole. Traditional and then another with a mango mixture. Both were fantastic! We also got the queso fundido that came sizzling to the table. More yummy cheesy goodness. Entrees-- I got chile braised shortribs with a bacon, pototao gratin and grileld asparagus. Amazing!! The meat was so tender and flavorful. The spice bulit as you ate any by the end of the meal, I still had the heat in my mouth. Others with me spoke very highly of the beef tenderloin, enchiladas verdes and the mahi mahi. My cousin elected to take a lamb dish and make it vegeterian with tofu. It was the first time I had tried tofu and it was really good! An interesting texture but very good as well. Our meal ended up costing about $40 a person, so it was very reasonable with 4 pitchers of margaritas split amongst us. Non of us got desserts as we were going to dance right after. Other things to note, Cash only.
