Wedding Woes

Random confessions

1- hubby and I wore matching sneakers through most of college

2- When I was pregnant with Tank I would lie about my due date because I didn't want someone to kidnap me my last month of pregnancy and cut him out of my belly to raise as their own.

3-I'm tired of headhunters telling me how fabulous my CV is but then are unable to get me an interview.  I feel like I will be here forever

4-I hope Zilla has a girl so I can give her PN's clothes

Busy, hang in there.  DH and I were both feeling thast way yesterday, but I know that you will find something bigger and better.  As dumb as it sounds, every day you're another day closer to the day when you leave there for good.

I just had a student freak out on me for something that I couldnt have helped with anyways and I'm still all shaken up. Too much adrenaline and I feel like I'm going to vomit.
Also, if she starts shooting I know I'm first. I want to go home.

Please tell us more about the matching sneakers. Were they like plain black converse or something? Or were you fancy?

On 3- Dh and I both thought it would never happen.  We'll be homeless soon enough.

And oh how I love a Supermarket Sweep reference.

Not really a confession, but I just want to share this somewhere.

I am bursting at the seams because Mr. Arb finally consented to moving out of the area where we currently live.   We've narrowed it down to two areas that we're looking into, and both are much closer to my friends/family.

My sister also found out yesterday she's having another boy, so the plus side there is she doesn't have to buy an entirely new wardrobe (minus baby stuff lost in the fire), and the two kids can share a room for at least a couple years.

I'm in a major funk over not getting to have kids before 30.

I'm in a major funk over not having a job yet. I'm trying to rework my resume to apply to something in a different field, but it's hard and I don't like doing it.

The only reason I want a job is so I can have a baby.

Wouldn't it be easier to have a baby if you don't have a job?

Mine: My period was 5 days late, and I was already all excited to tell you guys I was having Hashbrowns. :( Boo. And to add insult to injury, I got cramps the day before the period was supposed to show up, AND the day it actually did. Nice.

I've been having horrible gas pain lately in my shoulders, back and sides, and I think it's due to all the dairy that I eat. I'm taking some time off from dairy, and we'll see what happens. I miss yogurt and cheese already.

My last cycle lasted 42 days. I peed on about 5 sticks. I was sad every time I got a neggo. I'm pretty sure I only said I didn't want kids when I was in a situation where I didn't want kids THAT MINUTE. Now that we're both employeed...

Theoretically, yes. Except I took this year off with the purpose of recommitting myself to an actual career in an industry I'll enjoy. I'm not quite ready to give up my college education and my desire to be successful. I know myself well enough to know if we start having kids before I go back to work then I'll never will--at least not at anything useful or interesting.

I am fighting "loser" feelings really hard.  This job is flat out menial labor, not interesting, and I'm not really used to be actively looked down on b/c of my position by other people.  My test studying isn't going well, I get discouraged, study less, scores do bad, you see the sick, sick cycle.  I keep feeling like if I don't do something about this situation NOW, I'm going to lose my entire life to being a loser...only I don't know what to do.

I want to ignore DH's family for the rest of our natural lives, pretend they don't exist, never visit, never call, never write, etc, etc.  I mentally know that's not fair or right, I just don't care.

I also think I'm losing my smarts   My brain is atrophying from not being challenged and Suduko just isn't cutting it.  I've thought about going back to writing to help, but if I have one more "failure" thing on my list, I'll scream.

    Whew!
