I just received a call back from an employee telling me he doesn't have an email address.

*dumbfounded*

people are liars. i have people tell me they don't have a credit card of their own. while it is possible (and i am sure someone is going to tell me a story about people they know who don't carry a credit card at all for whatever reason), i don't believe this happens in a corporate environment.

liars. the whole lot of them.

The sad part is, I can see this for this person.  He's like the simplest guy ever.

(I have some who don't check it.  Hell, there's one crazy person here who had an internet addiction, he unplugs his computer from the network and has a secretary print his emails once a week to go through)

we have a few people who don't "do" e-mail at my company. You send e-mails to someone they sit near or to the receptionist and they will give it to them.

I brought it up at a meeting once and asked if it's really that hard to make them learn how to use them and I was told yes.

My stepdad does not have an email address.  People have to email my mom to send him anything to him electronically.
