i was at my desk when we heard rumbling upstairs. i asked the woman next to me "what the eff was that?" and then the ground rippled below us and we were both "i'm leaving" and pretty much pushed the svp out of our way to get to the stairs.
i picked baby mo up from daycare and we left. i drive by the state dept, and a giant line of motorcycle cops rolled up in front. SAVE HILARY!
the 30 min drive took an hour and a half.
we're home now. dh felt it at home, and told me that all the car alarms in the parking lot went off.
