You mentioned sock buns in my post a few days ago.  I hadn't heard of it so I googled.

I just did it real quick with a dress sock.  Not too bad for my first attempt.  I actually got a nice full bun.  Thnaks for bringing it up. Now I don't have to pay $10 + $7.95 for a set of 3 and another set of 3 for free plus the $7.95 for s&h.

I'm glad it worked for you. I can't do sock buns because I can't find socks that work with my hair. DH's are too big, black shows through my blonde hair and the majority of my socks are ankle socks. So they don't work. I've been meaning to try on of the bun enhances from Sally but I keep forgetting to stop in.
