Wedding Woes

I need gift ideas

The third annual minnerversary is coming up and I am racking my brain for a gift for H. (He never wants anything and is so hard to buy for). I tried looking up the traditional gift for year three, hoping to find inspiration but no. It's leather. I already got H a wallet for our wedding and the only other thing he might use is this....
Leather Beer Holster

And ideas?

IHO National Grammar Day, it's "wracking". I don't know why, but it seems lately that editors have universally decided to leave off the "w", but "racking" is something you do to pool balls. It makes me stabby (not so much you, Min, but in general).

Does he brew his own? I got H a Mr. Beer brewing kit for Christmas and now he's this crazy home brewer. I'm getting him pint glasses for his birthday so he can take better pictures for his brewing board.

BMom - He is collecting empty beer bottles and SAYING he is going to brew, so please: 1) keep correcting me, it's the only way I am going to learn and 2) send the link, please :)

I got H the first one on the list. There's also MrBeer.com, where you can buy different varieties to brew and sign up for automatic refills and extra tools and stuff. The gift you can keep on giving!

TT - We have a notebook for recipes and while that sounds nice, we're too messy in the kitchen for that.

BMom - I could kiss you right now. I KNOW he will like this and I can always buy him refills for presents in the future ::kisses BMom::

And now when you move to Denver, the boys will have something to do while we drink vodka martinis and go for mani-pedis.

I was thinking of a leather notebook he could use for teaching, but that is something that we think is lovely and appropriate and he would set on the bookshelf and would collect dust for years, until I went insane and donated it to charity.

Damn. Gift fail on my part.

I'm getting H's everyday wedding band engraved. For our first anniversary I got his fancy one engraved.
