Help!! FI wants to change the date of our reception, which is this October. He and I had our doubts about the venue and now he is convinced he doesn't want it there. We felt the dance floor was too small and the M'D recently sent me a nasty email for bothering him so many months before the wedding. We basically settled on this place because FI wanted another place and I wanted something different so we just settled half way. Now, with our first HUGE payment due in a couple weeks, we are not 100% sure we want it there anymore. We've been looking other places but of course everything is already booked that date. We did find a wonderful place in Philly that is only available the first Saturday in November.
Has anyone or anyone you've known ever changed the date 6 months before the wedding? We have already sent out STD magents so everyone knows about it. Is it wrong to change the date on everyone? Embarrassing?? HELP?!?!?
