POAS = negative

Which is good on many levels. A doctor would have had a lot of 'splaining to do.

And now I get to just wonder why my boobs are so sore and I have spotting less than 2 weeks after a regularly-scheduled, but weird, period.

Blech. I'm overdue for my annual. I guess I'll get around to calling them soon.

    You're in your 30s, right?

    Menopause starts now. I was so regular you could set a clock by me up until about a year ago. Then one of my ovaries went wonky, so instead of a 28-day cycle, I now have one 28-day and one 35-day. And if I do anything out of the ordinary, even a little bit - stay out too late a day or two, drink too much, change elevation - it comes early or late by a few days.

    Ah, the joys of womanhood.

    I'm 36. This is menopause?! SWEET! I mean, I know I still probably have another 15 years of wonkiness, but still. I am ready.

    Anyway, mystery (sortof) solved. I'm having a full-on period. I swear it's only been 3 weeks since the last one (I"m usually a pretty reliable 28-31 days), but oh well. At least that explains a LOT about my physical discomfort and foul mood over the last several days.
