I think I might have already asked this before, but what is your favorite thing that you registered for?  Did you get it at your shower?

Well, it would have been my 6 quart professional kitchen aid mixer or my awesome pots and pans, but my mom went crazy and bought them both for us as a house warming present two months back. So now, it's my bedding, that Macys still won't let me add to my registry (anyone else having problems with macys?)... but that's my favorite thing that will be on there. Oh, it also would have been the DC17 dyson awesome awesome vac. but when our cat got sick she shed a TON so we bought it ourselves. We didn't have a vac.

A set of All-Clad stainless steel pots and pans to replace our grubby teflon set.  We received the set as a wedding gift. I'm also excited about our panini press, but I still haven't gotten around to using it.

My knives (I think you registered for the same ones).  We got them as a wedding gift, not at the shower.  I underestimated good knives. Pans too - I wrap those babies up so they don't get scratched.

pfeif - what do you wrap them in? Mine just sit, some on top of another, on a shelf that I got. Should I be doing anything more? They have a lifetime guarantee

I put paper towel inbetween the pans before I stack; anything that doesn't make it metal on metal.
