s/o 16 & pregnant

Met with hair chick yesterday and we talked about teen pregnancy.  She told me that a friend of her's had gotten pregnant in high school and had an abortion.  She just found out about 10 years later.

And the teen's parents never knew.  Wow.

I can't imagine harboring a secret like that forever.

Apparently girl's parents were against birth control.  YEAHHH, how did that work out?  Poor kid.

Ugh. this sounds familiar, only this happened when she was in her 20s. The first the parents knew about the second only I know about. And now she's jealous that I'm pregnant.

Damn. It's a shame her parent's weren't able to be there for her. I would like to think that if my kid got pregnant I would find a way to support any decision she made, whether it was abortion, adoption or keeping the kid. (Let's be honest though, I would encourage her to give the kid up for adoption)
