Facebook and Twitter info?

Maybe set up a fb under the alias?  Or have some sort of professional page?  Otherwise I wouldn't want my business and friends and family to interact like that.

I would only list that if you had accounts you were using for purely professional purposes (and in that case I think you should make account under you pen name).

Oh, yeah, it would be my fan page (Catherine Winters) and my writing twitter (@writingwinters). The whole point of the pen name is not to have people - fans, eventually, I hope - all up in my regular business.

I wish I understood the context of the question.  If you're talking about social media presence for your writing, I'd go with a FB business page and a separate twitter handle as well.

You still have room for personal authenticity without putting lots of dirty jokes out there.


Me? FB is 100% private. Twitter is sortof a hybrid, though, because I post a lot about work, my work-related blogging, and my tweets feed to my linkedin page. But I'm in a different industry. And not everyone really recommends my approach.

It's whether I should put my writing stuff on my business card, so they can look me up under my pen name. It goes with the other poll.
