I forgot to put the gate up in between the doors at the house to separate my parent's cat and my dog (who is crated). Do you think the cat will torture the dog? They do go at it sometimes! It's kind of funny to see the cat "paw" Mya and then Mya does the same thing to the cat, until it start hissing! lol.
