Reception Venues on Bourbon Street

I am from St. Louis MO planning a destination wedding.  We are looking for venue with a balcony.  Any suggestions would be apppreciated.

Bourbon St is pretty gross and full of strip joints.   However, there are some places near by.  You can always try the Royal Sonesta.  It's a nice hotel on Bourbon St.   Latrope in on Royal St (just a block off of Bourbon.), Antonie's, Galatorie's,    There is a new Hyatt a block from Bourbon.    The Security Company is block from Bourbon also.

I'm not from NOLA, but lived there for a year.  So there are a lot more places I can't think of.

Agree with Lyn, Bourbon is really gross for the most part. There are lots of venues in NOLA though, check out the local board for suggestions. Board of Trade, The Federal Ballroom, and the Wax Museum are popular choices in the Quarter.
