Old Hollywood

I am a recenlty married knottie who is an advisor for the class in charge of prom next year at the school Iteach in. They want an old hollywood theme with useing the colors silver, gold, black and just a touch of red. Does that work? Do any of you have any pics of that working out well?  TIA

That's pretty much our color scheme, though the only red is our aisle runner.  Look up "art deco weddings" or "art deco parties" for inspiration.

I don't have any photos, but those sound like perfect colors for vintage Hollywood glamor. 

Black and white = formal, sophisticated
Gray = sepia/vintage look
silver and gold = opulent, glamourous
a touch of red = bold, dramatic, and also opulent, sexy
