My FI and I went nuts this weekend and started registries at 3 stores - Crate & Barrel, Macy's and BB&B - all in one day. For those of you who haven't started this process yet, I STRONGLY recommend that you set them up online (i.e. your names, addresses, etc) because it will save a lot of time, especially if the stores are busy or there's a shortage of people working. That way they can give you a scanner and get you on your way. We waited 45 minutes in Macy's before we finally got started scanning and FI was starting to fade fast. By the time we got to BB&B I was like just give me that scanner!!
