We are having our wedding at our farm and having a friends dad come with his big professional bbq/roaster to do a few beef roast and baked potatoes and getting fresh buns from a local bakery. My mom and sister (and recruited volunteers) are making the sides...but I'm not really sure what to make. Probably salads of some sort--but what kind? Any suggestions (salad or not)? Thanks! Jennie

  • Green beans, corn (on the cob), carrots, corn bread, pasta salad. I'd also do a vegetarian entree, for people who don't eat meat. Maybe a chicken entree too, if you can swing it (I have some friends who are not vegetarians but do not eat beef or pork, they only eat poultry).

  • grilled veggies (corn, zucchini, mushrooms, onions), pasta salad, coleslaw, green salad, green beans w/potatoes. Pretty much anything goes with those entrees, but I'd add a few roast chickens as pp said, but other than that...sounds good!
