Reception Hall Wont contact me!

I found the perfect location to have our ceremony and reception. I went there, met with the staff, they seemed excited to do my wedding and said they would work with some numbers and see what kinda of quote they can send me, that was 9 days ago. I know a quote might take a long time, but a week ago they had a meeting with the events supivisor to see if I could do what I want to do. (bring in some snowmobiles to get some pictures done on them)...isnt it polite to just send me a quick email and let me know how it went? I have email her twice asking how the meeting went and if she could give me an idea of the price and I havent heard ANYTHING. What should I do? Thank you!

You should call and ask to speak with the coordinator or a supervisor.  It shouldn't take 9 days to get back with you.One thing I learned when looking for venues is that a lot of them don't check the e-mail regularly.  If you need a more immediate response, just pick up the phone and call.

Pick up the phone and call.  It's suprising, but there are people that don't use their email much, even in 2009. If they still take a long time to get back with you, find another venue.  Their service isn't going to get better after they get your money and a contract.

one caterer I tried to deal with said she was only in the office one or 2 days a week, and phone didn't work with her either b/c she never returned phone calls. I finally gave up. Is there someone ELSE there who you could contact?

I finally heard from her, and we had agreed she would do a detailed quote with me for a specific date. When you do a detailed quote doesnt she need a fair bit of information from me? I havent heard back yet (remind you that was yesterday I heard from her)...I am going to give her a few days and if I dont hear from her then I might call and ask if there is someone else I can work with! Geez! I normally wouldnt care so much except this is the place we want!
