Help!

Hello lovely brides to be,

I need some advice for our upcoming wedding in June. Our venue is at Bridgeport Art Center and our color is fuschia for the ladies. Now we require chair rental so I'm in the process of placing the order and I can't decide on either the gold or black chiavari chairs with the white pad.. I just feel if we go with gold it might be too much wood color since our venue has hardwood floors and exposed brick.

Any suggestions?

Thank you!

Re: Help!

  • i love the look of those chairs in gold. black might make it look too dark. but go with your instinct, i feel that is always the best decision.

  • I think it depends on what you plan to have as your "accent" color. If you plan to have gold accents in other parts of the day, like flowers, escort cards, invitations, etc, then you should go with gold. I think gold would give a lighter, more royal vibe. If you plan to have black accents, go with black, which I think would have a more modern, chic vibe.

  • Either color could really work! It really depends on the look your going for! Like PP said, the gold would give your wedding a more light and brighter feel, but the black would make it yes darker but, IMO a little more night-time elegant and modern chic. Honestly you could even use all three colors if you really wanted (Im making this really easy, aren't I? Tongue out) Use the fuschia and black as the main and the gold as the accent color-again I think that would look really good at a chic, elegant night wedding.

However, if it were my June wedding and these were my choices, I may go with the gold to give it more of the lighter feel and keep that summery vibe going.

  • I think fuschia and black looks better...
