We are planing a cocktail reception serving hors d'oeuvres, wine, beer and cup cakes. I need some input on the room set up. The venue has said theat some groups do not set up enough tables for everyone, my fiance says we need tables and chairs so everyone can sit down at the same time. I am thinking I don't want that many tables and that the type of reception we are having lends itself more to people mixing and socializing, but I don't want people to think an error was made with seating either.
