My FI and I are having a bit of a debate.
We will most likely be renting a newly built park (indoor) lodge for our Spring/Early summer reception. Tables are provided. That's it. Everything else will be brought in - but venue has absolutely no rules regarding catering other than...you bring it in, you clean it up.
So - we've found some very affordable and very nice catering options. Problem is - drink and bar packages are so flippin expensive. 9 dollars per person for a few beers and some soft drinks?
My thought was to bring in our own beverages. Our group is a pretty laid back group of people and some coolers with soft drinks and a cooler with beer seemed perfect for a park wedding to me.
He, however, feels that's just a bit too redneck.
I feel like spending 500 dollars on drinks alone is ridiculous.
Thoughts/Ideas anyone?
