I have spent the past two months scouring my hometown (Toledo, OH) for a location for my reception, and I'm running out of options. I'm trying to avoid a typical banquet hall.
I have looked for wineries (too far), metroparks (too grungy) and restaurants (too small). I found a little lodge that looks just about perfect, but my fiancee gave it the kiss of death: "Heeey! This place looks just like the reception hall from my first wedding!"
I can hear the first whispers coming from my friends and family that I'm going overboard with this, but a good location means everything to me. Any suggestions or advice would be deeply appreciated! The search is starting to drive me crazy!
