Little slow, but fine.  First dances are a very personal thing, so as long as you're both comfortable with it, that's all that matters.

I think that as long as it has special meaning to you, and you both like it, it's a good choice.

Most of the time people won't think your first dance choice is weird as long as the lyrics are wedding appropriate. Songs about cheating, breaking up and death ... now those songs get a side-eye.

we aren't on a mountain or anything, but i just love the emotion in the song. and i don't think it's any slower than other first dance songs (unless you whip out a funny choreographed number or something).
