My fiance and I met by the water and are going to incorporate a few nautical elements to our wedding. I saw a wedding online (photo below) that had a saying that read: "Beside the seaside we fell in love". I would like a similar quote to use at my wedding reception on napkins or favors. We did not meet by the sea though, we technically met by the river. Does anyone know of or can come up with a nice phrase or poem about meeting or falling in love by the water, river, etc? I would appreciate any ideas.
