Winter wedding color ideas?

I am having a February 2011 wedding but don't have colors picked out yet.  It's hampering my ability to make a decision on a bridesmaid dress, centerpieces, flowers, etc.  I wanted it to have some silver to make it look wintery and maybe some snowflaky kind of decor but not too much but besides a blue, I don't know what other colors would look good with silver that would look wintery.  I was thinking maybe a wine color but I'm not in love with it.  Any ideas suggestions or the what other winter brides are doing would be greatly appreciated!

I saw this gorgeous winter wedding with silver, black and tiffany blue.  Almost made me want to have a winter wedding!  (I think it was a girl on here but I don't remember her User ID or anything)

Anyways, if you google a specific color with "inspiration" behind it, it will give you boards like these and sometimes that's helpful to see all the colors together.  HTH

Congrats month twin! As of right now I've chosen purple,silver and white. I am also looking at the tiifany blue with damsk.

Silver and wine will look really nice. I'm considering Red, white and black or white and some other color- colors seem like the hardest thing to choose.

Mine is in February as well.. I had a hard time deciding. I started with blue and silver, then added in some brown because I love blue and brown, and then I changed the white to ivory, and finally decided against blue... It was a long process But I've finally decided on ivory, brown, and silver. It will be mostly ivory and silver with some touches of brown in the napkins and pinecones. And actually my BM dresses are light gold, so really it's a mix of everything in the brown spectrum and some silver.

I knew I didn't want anything to do with Christmas, so any kind of red or green was ruled out immediately.

I'm a December bride doing something with not so much of a 'color', more of an atmosphere of nice, warm tones.  Ivory, gold and bronze.

These ideas are so helpful everyone...thank you thank you thank you!  Where does everyone find those groups of photos that are attached to some posts that show their color palatte?  Like Future_mrs's post.  That is very cool.

I like evergreen weddings in the winter, the rich greens and browns would go nicely with silver and it hasn't been totally done to death.

I'm a Feb bride too! and I struggled with the same problem for a bit. I decided on a midnight blue for my bridesmaids... for some reason a darker color seems more wintery to me. I also didn't want the color to be too light and girly, so I guess that just depends on the girl.

My fiance picked out the centerpieces, which is totally out of character for him but I wasn't going to say anything. We have tall vases that are going to have crystals inside, and a little light so they'll glow. He said it went with the theme... whatever. And were only doing white or ivory colored flowers. Our reception venuehas a lighting system so our decor will be very plain, and they'll add color where ever it's needed.
