Song for Mother/Son dance?

Does anyone have any suggestions for a Mother/Son song??  We are having problems picking one that is not too cheesy- and may opt for the band to just play something instrumental.

We are having the same problem. All that is out there is Celine Dion and others that my fiance wouldn't be caught dead dancing to.

How about "In My Life" by the Beatles?

Or, "The Best" by Tina Turner? Sort of upbeat, not too cheesy. It the sort of song that goes both ways....... the Mom or the Son can be "the best".

What about Nat King Cole "For Sentimental Reasons", Boyz II Men " A Song for Mama", Faith Hill "There You'll Be", or the one that my brother and mom will probably be dancing to is a new one I found by Molly Pasutti "The Man You've Become"  Its a really nice song, but be prepared for the grooms mom to get very teary listening to it.

FI and his mom are doing "i'll stand by you" by the pretenders.  it's pretty upbeat and not too "cheesy."  they are excited about it.

YES.  Its called "A Mother's Song" by Tcarter music....I sang it at my brothers wedding while he danced with my mom.  Its a tear Jerker...try it out:)

My husband and his mom danced to "Forever Young" sung by Joan Baez.  It is a nice song.
