Father/ Daughter Dance...HELP!

I need help choosing a father/daughter dance for my wedding. My dad and I do not like country music at all & that seems to be all I can find.. We are more into classic rock. Any ideas?

We did Paul Simon's "Father and Daughter" because we wanted something a bit upbeat and not super "mushy." Still a nice song but not along the lines of "Butterfly Kisses," which is just not my taste at all.

My husband and daughter danced to the Beatles, "All You Need Is Love"   very easy to dance to, and they even threw in a few twirls!  Practiced the week of for less than an hour

Elton John also has a few sweet, but not romantic, songs. I think we're going to do "Something about the way you look tonight," but I think there was at leat one other like that, too.

I also was looking at Elton John songs. My criteria was no country, nothing that makes me cry, and nothing that is really about a romantic couple (because I find that kinda creepy). I ended up picking Elton John Blessed which I really love although I think we are going to have the DJ fade it out at the bridge because it is a little long (5 min).

There are sites online that have lots of song choices for the father/daughter dance.  Just do a google search on "wedding songs" and you'll have lots of options.  Off the top of my head "Isn't she lovely" by Stevie Wonder is a great choice.  "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" by Elton John is a great tear jerker.  My Dad and I danced to "Just The Way You Look Tonight" by Frank Sinatra.  Not a rock song, but a great dance tune

I was actually just thinking about this, and then I threw the song on to double-check the lyrics.

"Waiting for a Girl Like You" is originally done by Foreigner and the lyrics are definitely about a relationship ("make love" is part of the song), BUT BUT BUT Mark Salling/Glee Cast does an acoustic version and cuts the lyrics (see link here - only the first three blocks are used, ending before "You're so good"). When they did it in the episode, the character plays it as a lullaby for his daughter. It's one of the lesser-known songs from the show, so don't knock it just for that.

Another one is "Watch Them Grow" by Zach Gill (link in title). I don't know if you'd enjoy that or not.
