wedding favors or centerpieces

I am looking to incorporate some type of bowling ideas into our wedding, whether it is favors or centerpieces. This is how we met and we want this to be a part of our wedding. Any ideas or do you know anyone that has awesome bowling wedding favors. Everything that I find looks cheap and tacky. I am from the southwest suburbs.

I tried looking up centerpieces but couldn't find any that weren't "birthday partyish".  You could do a candy bar type thing and put in some bowling themed candy:

I just can't figure out a way to add that in there while still trying to hold a lot of elegance.  I'm sure you'll get some good ideas from here though.

You could probably DIY sticker pictures of the two of you, or get them professionally laminated on teh pins with your names and wedding date below the picture?
Just an idea and it would make for a very unique centerpiece to give away!

Ok...I lost the web address for this, sorry.  But I can explain it.  I saw a pic of a centerpiece where the couple had a tall vase that looked like the shape of a bowling pin (shaped kind of like this one: (http://www.glockesglass.com/Pictures/Rainbow%20Bowling%20Pin.JPG)

and they had red stripes painted onto the neck like a bowling pin would.  Then they had a floral arrangement coming out of the top.  It was a very casual floral arrangment, but still looked nice.  And then for favors I saw some sort of edible food/candy (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230393976046&rvr_id=&crlp=1_263602_263622&UA=WVS%3F&GUID=09e99b2b1260a0aad42245a2ffbb4cff&itemid=230393976046&ff4=263602_263622 you  could make your own little chocolates) in little favor boxes that had Bride and grooms name, wedding date, and "we're going for a strike" or some witty little bowling quote on there.  I'm sure you could have fun with it!

You could stencil table numbers onto the bowling pins and use them as table numbers?

You could glue 10 bowling pins together in the triangle shape, put a sheet of glass on top and use it as a base for your cake stand? 

Use new bowling pins as a guestbook for your guests to sign?
