Modern vs Vintage

My wedding is in 40 days and I'm finalizing decor elements. I've noticed alot of the wedding blogs focus on "vintage"  I like the vintage look but I'm also very modern. Are there any blogs that focus on modern weddings?

Before I make my decision, I wanted to get everyone's opinion on the "vintage" look.  Do you like it?  

Also it seems that if a wedding has a vintage feel, photographs are also making the photograph look old by making it look faded. I'm not sure I like that. What are everyone's thoughts.

I don't know of any blogs (except offbeatbride) that focus on the more vintage feel.  But I do like it.  Our wedding has a vintage/pin-up "theme"  More like a few things that kind of make it feel that way instead of completely taking over.  But we are still keeping it modern too.  I think that she may make a few pics like that possibly, but I like the normal pics, and more contemporary and fun, and that's what we are going for.  There's no problem having the vintage theme and doingn stuff normal or "up to date".  Have fun and get it how you like it!
