Rhinestone help!

Hi all, I want some "bling" on my tables and would love to have rhinestones scattered on my tables but I can't find any!  Anyone have a site they have found with rhinestones?  Or other rhinestone decor to recommend?

I'm not familiar with your area, but around here there are some high end fabric stores with specialty areas for bridal fabrics & trim (not Joanne's or Michael's) that have bags of rhinestones for sale. If you can't find that, you could use sequins, which would be much cheaper and easier to find.

You could also google "bags of rhinestones" and see what comes up

Patti- as someone who grew up in beauty pageants and to this day bedazzles pretty much EVERYTHING, I'd advise against scattered rhinestones for one of 2 reasons:

1- rhinestones come in either pointed or flatback.  If you get the pointed back by accident, the stones will roll around your table and plus, only one side of the stone will be sparkly- the rest will have gray backing.  If you get the flatback, someone will have to make sure that every stone sits face up.  Do you have any idea how long that will take if you have an average of 3 dozen stones per table?

2- if you get the stones that do not have any kind of backing, but are full crystals (think Swarovski diamonds, or simulated stones that could be set into jewelry) you are going to pay A LOT, as in, at LEAST $10 per 1carat stone ($10 each x 36 per table x 10 tables = $3,600 in rhinestones alone!)

If you want some bling on your tables, and you like rhinestones, how about something like crystal picture frames?  You can put either the table number inside, or a photo of you & FI.
