Calling Florida brides!

So I already posted this on a Florida board but its a bit slow so I thought I'd give this a try as we'll

I'm planning on having my wedding on sanibel in July with the ceremony probably around 7pm on the beach with the reception inside. I keep hearing a lot of people say that that time of year if very hot and humid. We've checked out weather info and humidity info, although not ideal it just doesn't seem too bad in the evening on the water. We were hoping to have cocktail hour in an outdoor space as well. Any thoughts? I would LOVE to hear from brides who did something similar that time of the year. TIA

July is the worst time you could have an outside wedding, especially at 7pm. July is when it starts to rain almost everyday after noon. A beach wedding would be best during the months of November through May. Otherwise, chances are, your original idea will be ruined and you will have to take your ceremony inside. (Live in St. Petersburg). I also plan on having an outdoor ceremony. I plan on doing mine in the month of April.

If it rains at noon why is 7 pm the worst time?

I'm getting married in November in Ft. Myers. my FI grew up there and he was adamant about not having it to early in the fall because its so hot there. July is just miserable. Also, think about your (and your bridesmaids') hair. All that humidity could cause problems for your makeup and hair!
