My ceremony is at 1:00, and we'll have dinner at around 2:30/3:00...reception to end by 6:00 pm (venue rules for Sunday wedding...MAY be able to get them to push it back an hour or two...should I try?) I always thought it was nice to serve food as soon as the reception started. We wouldn't want to wait until the middle of the reception to serve, right? Is this ok as long as guests know that dinner will be served immediately following the reception so they know not to have a huge lunch?
