Photobooth?

Has anyone attended a reception with a photobooth? How was it recieved? Did people actually use it?

I love photo booths but don't want to spend the money if people aren't going to use it.

I've been considering doing a "live" photo booth! I think the actual photo booths are entirely too expensive and i think you could hire an amateur or a new student who is just getting started for a fraction of the price! If everything goes as planned we're going to be setting up a tent with a back drop *probably a white sheet or something* It's still in the plans though!

Do it!! you can even put props like hats and glasses for people to put on while they are taking pics. You get a copy of the photos and the people taking the pic get a photo.

We got married two months ago and had one at ours. It was THE BEST thing we did! Well worth every penny. It was packed all night and we have some fantastic photos from it. The photobooth printed two identical strips...I had scrapbook materials there and the guests made a page for our guest book with their photo strips. It was a huge hit. Do it!!

I also think it's a great idea.  We've been to a wedding once where they had one and it was packed the whole entire night.  They had set up the booth by the bar so as people were waiting in line to get drinks they took pictures in the booth.  It's so funny to watch how many people try to cram in the little booth and the pictures turn out to be classics.  We are going to do a booth at our reception and then give the guests a strip of their pictures as the favors for the wedding.

We are doing the same! Everyone I have told says they are so excited about the booth. I found a great company for a great deal! We are SO excited. Great favor idea as well.

I'm planning on having one at my wedding.  I think it's a fun idea, and I think it will work as a favor as well.
