So I have an overall theme idea for our wedding which is in may in CT at a venue on the water. I want a somewhat tropical theme. Don't think luau, think more understated like a nice event on a caribbean island. We're doing orchids as well for most of the flowers. We don't want anything in your face just a nice mood. I was thinking of a color palette but I'm not good with colors and design so I was hoping to get an opinion and possibly some suggestions as well. Since I don't want to make my fiance where anything to girly I decided including a blue might be a good idea. He doesn't really care but I know he'd prefer not to be in a pink or purple. Also, I'm not a fan of orange. I know this is getting long but I really need to get my palette done. So my idea as of now is to almost replicate the colors of the beach. My three colors to go around are a greenish-blue like the caribbean ocean, a sand color, and a nice pink. Almost like what it would like like to have pink petals spread on the beach in the caribbean. If this makes any sense. I have attached a picture for an idea below but I probably want to lighten them up a little bit. Thanks! and add pictures or links if you can, I'm very visual.
