Ok, ladies. I've been looking non-stop for receptions places for the past month and my affordable options are slim. I've looked at barns, halls, historic buildings, conference centers, restaurants, everything. Because I live in a small Southwest Michigan town/ city area, there just aren't alot of places and so I'm having to look outside of the area. My question is: how far of a distance is within the range of appropriateness for my guests to drive? The church is where I live, as are the hotels. I hate the idea of inconveniencing people, but can't afford the options for receptions here, or transportation for them from somewhere else. I'm stuck. Opinions? Personal experience ideas? All help appreciated!
