Perfect Reception Cite, Except for Parking

I have found a great place for our reception but there is little or no parking.  Just a small parking lot (like 5 spaces) and the rest is on street parking. Should I choose a venue that has more parking or is there something I can do to make this one work?

I would ask the venue coordinator or whoever you are working with what they usually do for weddings.  He/she can probably give you some ideas of what other big parties or weddings have done in the past, whether that be a shuttle from somewhere or just letting people park on the street where ever they can find a spot.

I have been to weddings before where we had to find street parking, it's not that huge of a deal.

You might also post on your local board and ask if anyone there has used that particular venue or is planning to, and how they handled or plan to handle parking.

If you think it is really going to be a huge issue (and general street parking is allowed) you can always hire a company to valet.  That way your guests won't have to drive around looking for spots, your employees will.

You can also probably hire a valet, so that you don't have to worry about necessarily parking very close, or having access for all of the guests to enter/leave at will.
