Candles for reception

Hello ladies! I'm looking for affordable candles for our reception tables. I am particularly interested in square pillar candles in white, but would like a variety. I hate to spend too much on something we're just going to burn, and we're trying to keep costs down. I've already looked at quickcandles.com, and was wondering if anyone else can suggest a store or website that they used with success. It seemed like all the websites I found were not very user-friendly, which makes me question how reputable they are. I appreciate any ideas.

Do you have an IKEA in the area? If not, check their website for their candle inventory and shipping costs. They have a lot of candles and accessories like holders and plates and stuff.

You could also check the craft stores such as Michaels, AC Moore, Hobby Lobby, etc.. (Hobby Lobby now has an online store!) Also, you can check Crate & Barrel, Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, etc...

Were you invisioning something along the lines of this look? It's an assortment of different shapes and sizes and it looks beautiful!

We don't have an IKEA, but per your advice I just checked the website. There are a few things on there I think could work. I've been to Michael's and found some nice votives in holders, but no pillars that were quite what I wanted for cheap enough. That picture is beautiful! I like the variety. Thanks for your help!

I ordered from http://www.quickcandles.com and http://www.cudge.net and had great success with both companies.  Believe it or not dollartree.com also is very reputable.  You can order on line and pick up at the store with no shipping charges.  Every candle is only $1.  You must buy by the case, though and they don't have any square candles right now, but it is always changing.  Keep checking.  I ordered my wine glasses from them.  $1 each!

Awesome tip! It never would have occured to me that Dollar Tree had a website. I'll check that out for sure! I know someone who bought all their glasses for the reception from Dollar Tree and it was beautiful! Thanks for the idea!
