Hello!
I am in need of some creative juices... My wedding is in 45 days (10/10/2011) and I have a few last minute jitters.
We are attempting a simply elegant yet creative/comfy feel for our fall DIY wedding located on 335 acres of uninterrupted nature with unbelievable mountain views (and you can envision the foliage at that time of year!)- our colors are Ivory, Gold and pops of Apple Green. We have an apple green candy buffet, half dipped caramel green apple place cards/favors, green apple design programs and green apple table numbers. I am using green calla lilies for the bridesmaids bouquets, apple green pomanders will line the aisle and the flower girl will be dropping apple green petals.
Now for my nervous energies: the altar area is white by design (4 pillars) with the mountain view in back. I was thinking to go simple by just draping tulle?? but is that TOO plain HELP! As well, the centerpieces... I purchased 24x 6 inch vases in which I intended to fill the bottom with green crystal gems, put in a good amount of thin branches and hot glue a mixture of mini and large green calla lilies throughout the branch blossom. I purchased tea lights to surround the base and mirrors as the platform. Lastly a few more apple green petals on the table for color. HELP!! Is that too boring???!
I might just be having last minute nerves but PLEASE feel free to share ANY and ALL Do It Yourself BUDGET wise artsy ideas to help my wedding day be all that it can be!
Thanks in advance....
