Eiffel Tower Vase..see through, or not?

I am making our centerpieces out of tower vases.  I was planning on using clear vases, but realized that with the floralyte that I wanted to put in the bottom (and another hidden up top) that you'd be able to see the floralyte through the vase.  I can't use the decor marbles because the vase isn't big enough for them to fit around the light.  I found where I can buy black or white ones, and was just wondering if I was to get these if you would be able to see the light through them still.  Or a way (inexpensively) that I could hide the light down there.

  • I used black eiffel tower vases, and I don't think you'd be able to see a light from inside the vase.

Do you have a picture of the look you're going for?  If you want to put a light in the vase, I'm confused about why you don't want to be able to see the light.

  • Lol...i knew that was going to sound confusing.  I want the light to come through the vase, but don't want to use clear because you can see the actual floralyte through the vase.  There...that made better since. Lol.

i called up to the place and they told me I won't be able to see through the color in the vases, so I decided to go with the clear and I will be frosting the vases myself.  I think that scoots around the problem and vies me what I want.
