Opinion on centerpiece

I bought these centerpieces for my April 2012 wedding. Our colors are pink and grey. I loved the lantern for my centerpice but after I showed it to my mom, she said it looks like it's for a winter wedding. What do you guys think? Any ideas on how I can make it more spring like?

    erhaps you could have cream candles in lanterns, with cranberry coloured ribbons and then on a bed of berries with evergreen. If you wanted to add something extra, you could have dried orange slices and cinnamon sticks within the evergreen.It perfect centerpiece in december.
