Hi all
My FI and I have decided to finally make things official and get married. We've been together 10 years and have two children together(and we already live together) so we're not planning on doing a big wedding. We want to keep costs low and to just have a fun/low-key event. My FI wants to have the reception at a local hotel where my sister works. We can get the room for practically free but I am having my doubts about doing it there. For one, this is our go-to place whenever we have a family party. Whether it be a birthday party, baby shower, anniversary party and I feel like my family has kind of been there done that with the place. It won't seem "special" and it might seem a little "low class". Do you know what I mean? Am I crazy?
