Reception Dance Music

Hey Ladies! I was wondering if you might share some of your favorite songs that you will be playing for your reception.  We are trying to put together a good mix for and would love some ideas!

Thanks!

  • I have mine listed in my planning bio.  I included alot of current dance music, but the post popular ones were the oldies (Superfreak, Shake Your Groove Thing, etc.), even for the younger people.

Our DJ also did a married couples dance which I highly recommend--it got people out on the floor that didn't dance any other time of the night.  He played "The Way You Look Tonight" by Frank Sinatra.

We did a last dance for our guests to "Stay With You" by John Legend and the dance floor was packed for that one too.
