Tables and Chairs

hey,

My venue provides unlimited 60" round tables and chivari chairs, by question is how many can I seat per table?

I've read everything from 6-10, but I was wondering if anyone had seated 10 in chivari chairs? 

I ask because A) I'm running out of space, and I don't want to buy unnecessary tablecloths/place settings etc.

I would seat 8 people, definitely not 6, at a 60 inch round table if you are pressed for space.  I'm not sure if 10 people could really sit comforably while eating.  It would probably be a little too cozy.

Also, would it be cheaper to rent your linens or especially your place settings?

I say 8-10. 10 depending on who is sitting there (kids, teens, skinny people, etc. And no I'm not saying have a fat table and skinny table I'm just saying look at how you do seating arrangement). We had 9 at most of our rounds (10 at a couple).

Yes, i'm renting! - I just meant that I don't want to pay more than necessary.

I'm not doing chargers, and i'm also wasn't planning on doing a seating arrangement (our families wouldn't go by it anyway, they're minglers) so i'm guessing they're going to sit where they would be comfortable. It's casual finger type foods so the seats are going to be mainly for those who want to be seated as opposed to necessity for eating.

It's not going to be a huge reception or anything, i'm planning for 120 seats but 95% of my guest list is his family, my 2 relatives, and a small handful of our mutual friends - I can't think of anyone having issue, but i'll have a table demo set up and see what I think!
