Color Question

Ok ladies, I need your advice.  My original colors were going to be tiffany blue, white and silver.  I found my dress and purchased it in ivory.  Should I change the white in my color scheme to ivory, or can I leave it as white other than the groom's and groomsmen's shirts?

Re: Color Question

  • The groom and groomsmen can still wear white shirts even if you're in ivory.   It looks fine, and nobody will notice.

I think white/silver/tiffany blue sounds lovely.

  • The tiffany blue and silver are my colors too =] good choice. I had originally ordered my dress in Ivory, but then switched because when i saw the 2 colors next to the "pool" blue BM dresses, they looked more blue next to the white, and the white looked more bridal to me. But I'm also psychotic. If you tried the white and like the Ivory better, I'm sure no one will notice =]

This. My first wedding our colors were white, teal and gold but my dress was ivory. It turned out really nicely actually. If you like the warmer tones then you can change the color from white to ivory and it will just tone down the blue and make for a warmer feel.
