$8 for chair covers??

Hello!

So I asked the hotel where we are getting married (Hyatt in Morristown NJ) how much it is to have chair covers and she told me $7.50-$8 per chair. That seems ridiculous to me but I am wondering if that is the norm. I never cared about chair covers but the alternative is to use the chairs they offer for free (chiavari chairs) that look pretty but are plastic and do not feel sturdy.

I feel torn. I hate the idea of spending so much on a wedding to have my guests sit in uncomfortable chairs but I also hate the idea of spending $800 on chairs.

What do you all think. Can anyone give me some perspective on the cost? Thanks!!

Hi, I have 450 BRAND NEW Polyester Banquet Chair Covers in WHITE. These covers were purchased for my wedding, but the chairs that will be at my wedding are different and I am unable to use these. They are brand new covers and still in their packaging. I am selling them for $1.75 each (shipping cost from Germantown, MD 20874 separate). Front seat height from ground = 18"; back = 17"
Seat back top, height from ground = 36.25"
Seat back width (at widest point) = 15.5"
Base (Front x Back x Sides) = 18" x 17.75" x 19"
