Have you had a fitting for your dress yet? Check with your seamstress or the seamstress at the bridal shop about doing a bustle like kagkiki had...I know that we both have/had dresses with a lace overlay, and because of that my seamstress wanted to keep the bustle simple to ensure that the lace wouldn't rip. She actually made mine so that the lace layer detached from the satin, and the satin bustled first. The lace layer then bustled in the back near the zipper, also onto the satin. It held really well, although it wasn't as elaborate as kagkiki's. Just something to check on...it might be possible to do something more complex, but you don't want any beautiful lace ripping on the big day!
