Work, work work, oh and more work. I've taken on additional roles at work and switched buildings. I've also started working nights and weekends at Best Buy so that has been keeping me busy. Wedding wise everything is going great. We couldn't be happier with our choices and we eagerly look forward to the day. Oh and you ladies that are on Erin Prouds payroll (joking) I see why you recommend her so, she was the most upbeat wedding vendor we met so far. We're definitely trying to see if we can fit her in our budget.

Glad to hear all is well & that you're keeping busy. Do you have all of your major vendors book at this point? The reason I ask is because our weddings are in close proximity to eachother. :] I can't believe we're already about a year out!

Steff - Not really, we have Photog, Ceremony, Reception and DJ. We have an idea of who we want for video and i'm completely loss when it comes to Limo's and flowers and all that other stuff. My head is spinning still at all the stuff I never thought about but still need.   Oodsie - I work at the one in Springfield on Baltimore Pike.

POOF - No way! Do you know Vince @ Best Buy (can't remember his last name)? He's one of FI's friends from HS - FI lives in Springfield, still.

Steff - Nope, i'm fairly new and haven't gotten around to meeting everyone yet. I work in Geek Squad so depending on where they work I could have no interaction wtih him at all lol. I work tonight and tomorrow so i'm going to be on the lookout for him.

Since you are geek squad - My laptop had a dvd burner in it, and it broke. I need it fixed. Is this something they do, because if so I'm going to take it to my local best buy and have them fix it. I got it at circuit city, and I was going to take it to them when I found out they were closing, boo.

BP, what model laptop do you have, what operating system do you use and what is actually wrong with the laptop. I would say take it to Geek Squad but I think there prices are a ripoff. Depending on the type of laptop and the drive it could be a 5 minute fix you might be able to do yourself, or i could do for ya. Let me know

My brother took the cd/dvd out of the computer, not just popped it out, it broke out of my computer, and he just shoved it back in hoping I wouldn't notice. I'm guessing a sensor got messed up, because I hear the computer trying to read a cd/dvd, but then it says there is no cd in the drive when in fact, there is a cd/dvd in the drive. My actual computer is kick @$$. HP, and it's vista... but the problem is the actual dvd drive/sensor to my computer.

Yea, sounds like the DVD drive needs to be replaced. Most likely off track and something broke inside. What model is it, i can look it up and see what the rate is for a new Drive, and see if they're easily hot swappable.

Ok, just know if you take it there they usually ship them out to Geek Squad City (forgot where in the midwest it is). For most hardware issues they actually don't fix them there but more so ship them out, so it'll take some time depending on there workload. I've known for people to go up to 3+ weeks waiting for there equipment.
