HELP... Ideas to suprise the groom

Hello my fellow knotties...
I am in quite the predicament as I recently found out that my groom is planning a surpise for me on our wedding day at the reception.  Before knowing this I already thought about doing this myself but now I know he is doing it I want to surprise him even moreso and make it really fantastic.  Any ideas out there?  Maybe something you did that you want to share?

I have heard of that too but I am nervous how he would react... I dont think he would like it... would love to do something public... maybe even something that is funny!

I plan on getting a bagpiper to surprise FI. He thinks it's out of budget at this point

I don't know why the OP FI wouldn't like that, but mine wouldn't like it because he doesn't like the idea of someone else see me like that or taking pictures of me like that, male or female.

I don't think he would like it because he wouldn't want me posing like that for someone and what is he really going to do with it afterwards... it will just get pushed to the back of the closest. He's a very practical kind of guy... really it's cool for the moment it does have that WOW factor but he's not the kind of guy that's gonna remember to pull it out and look at it every so often...

Ditto PP about the groom's cake. I'm getting a Raider's themed groom's cake for FI, in a flavor he loves but I dislike (he let me choose wedding cake flavors, so I figured this is a good way to pay him back). I'd like to think of something additional to go with this though- but I think it's a good place to start.

My guy loves cookies, so I'm having cookies served late in the reception as a late night snack.  I've also heard of people servinf sliders or pizza or even French Fries.

My fiance' loves "Silly Love Songs", by Paul McCartney. I have hired a choir to come to the wedding dressed as guests, who are going to sit amongst them for the ceremony, and then after we are pronounced MAW, are going to stand up where they are, and start singing us down the aisle.  I have only told a few of my bm's. Not even our entire bridal party knows. I think he'll love it!

Well, I'm not into "surprises" at weddings-they strike me as too cutesy and you just never know if they'll come off as intended.  I don't think you need to reciprocate "surprises."

I'm wondering how your guests are going to take it if people among them who aren't really guests suddenly stand up and "sing" you back down the aisle.
