Post - Wedding Question

Hey Ladies - I've lurked on the boards throughout my engagement, and first of all would like to say thank you for advice, etc  (even though I've never posted I've learned a lot from you all!)Secondly, I was married in August (Susie & Ian on Sarah Schulte's Blog ;-), and am wondering if any of you have rec's on where to get a wedding dress cleaned / preserved.  I'm in Bucks County, but am flexible (I work on the main line) so really anywhere in the area would be good!I just can't bear to see my beautiful dress sitting in my closet with wine/beer/mystery stains on it any longer - Thanks in advance!

Congrats!  I too am looking for an answer to your question... mine is disgusting and I am afraid to trust any drycleaners with it.

You can take your dress to The Wedding Touch in Frazer/Malvern. The cost is $275 and they send it out for you and it will be sent to you within 3 months (got mine after a month) triple boxed...the last box is sealed in plastic so your beautiful dress is preserved.  I also had my veil preserved.

I had mine done with Jennifer Anne Designs in Wilmington, DE. It was really affordable- $175 for drycleaning and preserving of the dress and additional $15 for the veil. Her website is www.favorevent.comI just got a call that my dress is ready for pick up. It only took about 6 weeks.
