Special Surprise for Grandparents

When my fiance and I set our date, we didn't realize it will be the same day as my paternal grandparents' 51st wedding anniversary. I want to do something special for them for sharing their day. (Their 50th anniversary party is this coming summer.) Also I do not think that they had a first dance song. Any ideas?

You should find out for sure if they had a first dance song.  If they did, you should play it.  If they didn't, you could pick a song and dedicate it to them. 

It's nice that it's their 51st anniversary, but it's also your wedding day, so don't put the spotlight on them.

you can make a special cake for them.  my cousin's wedding was right around a family members birthday as well as another family members anniversary and they made special cakes for them and presented them to the recipients.  it was very touching.

Don't know what to do.. but maybe put it as part of the "how long have you been together game... when you get to 51 years.. Wammo do a surprise!
