Wedding Mad Libs

Just wondering if anyone else is doing these, I think it is such a cute idea!

Re: Wedding Mad Libs

  • For what?  As a game at the table?  I think it's cute, but probably more appropriate for a shower game.
  • We're doing it!  Our family and friends are the type that will really enjoy it and I found a template that kind of inspired me. I figured that not everyone signs the guest book but we'll probably get more of them to do this. We will have them printed on paper and rolled up and tied with ribbon and set on each guest's plate and we'll have a little receptacle for them on each table. I like that it can help set a fun, light tone and can be a talking point for the table as well.I get that it's not for everyone, but the guests that we've told about it were really excited.

This.  It's cute for a bridal shower but not a wedding.

  • I was going to have it as an alternative to the guest book, or in addition to a thumb print thing that is popular now or a picture of us that people can sign around.  People can just fill them out on the table for the guestbook.  It really isn't meant to be a game, just something fun for my FI and I to read a few days after the wedding.
  • My family and friends wouldn't be into something like this. A friend of mine tried it and only a handful of people filled them out (and not very funny either). Seems a bit forced to me.
